This is the last Will and Testament of me John Page the Elder of Little Linford in the County of Bucks Yeoman which I make and ordain in manner and form following (that is to say) First I will and direct that all my just debts Legacies and funeral expences be fully paid and satisfied Next I give and devise unto my Eldest son John Page All my Messuages Cottages Closes lands tenements hereditaments and premises whatsoever and wheresoever within the Kingdom of Great Britain To hold the same unto my said son John Page his heirs and assigns for ever in case he has Issue any son or sons but in case of his decease without Male Issue That then and in such Case I do hereby give and devise all my said real Estate as afore mentioned unto and amongst all my younger children then alive their heirs and assigns To hold the same as tenants in Common Next I give and bequeath unto my son Edward Page the Legacy or sum of two hundred pounds to be paid him out of my personal Estate at his age of twenty five years but my mind and will is that he shall live with his brother John Page and be maintained and kept by him in the same way and manner as he is now maintained and kept by me if he shall so think proper to live with him and behaves himself well Next I give unto my son William Page the like sum of one hundred and seventy five pounds to be paid at his age of twenty five years and to live and be with his brother John upon the same Conditions with his brother Edward Next I give and bequeath unto my son Thomas Page the sum one hundred and seventy five pounds to be paid him at his Age of twenty five years as aforesaid Next I give and bequeath unto my son Richard the sum of one hundred pounds to be paid him at his age of twenty five years and to be on the same Conditions as his Brothers Edward and William are to be till that time as above particularly mentioned Next I give to my son James the Legacy or sum of two hundred pounds to be paid him at his age of twenty five years and to be kept and maintained by his brother John or put out Apprentice which ever may happen during his Minority in the same manner as near as possible as I should have done myself Next I give unto my daughter Catherine Stockly the Legacy or sum of two hundred pounds first deducting the sum of fifty five pounds which she had when she was married to be paid within twelve months next after my decease Next I give unto my daughter Elizabeth Billington the sum of two hundred pounds first deducting the sum of twenty pounds which she had when she was married to be paid within twelve months next after my decease The furniture of the Best Room upstairs I give to my said two daughters to be equally divided And I give unto my daughter Catherine a silver Punch ladle and a part of silver salts And unto my daughter Elizabeth I give a silver punch ladle and a silver pepper Caster All the Rest Residue and Remainder of my personal Estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever I give and bequeath the same unto my said son John Page his executors and administrators And I do hereby make and ordain constitute and appoint my said son John Page full and sole executor of this my last Will and Testament And I do hereby will and desire my good friends John Stevens of Stanton Bury and Robert Andrews of Hardmead to see this my Will duly executed as near as may be and be Guardians to my younger Children And my Mind and Will further is that whatever money may be owing to me at my decease from my sister Haycock I desire that the same may be discharged and not demanded by my executor and I freely give the same to my said sister Haycock to and for her own use and benefit and I do hereby revoke all former and other wills by me at any time heretofore made and do declare this only to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said John Page the Testator have have hereunto set my hand and seal the fifteenth day of November in the twenty fourth year of the Reign of our sovereign Lord George the third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King defender of the faith and so forth and in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty three John Page Signed seal published and declared by the said John Page the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence attested the same in the presence of each other (the Erasures in the eighteenth and twenty first lines on the other side being first made)
